The Plan:

We’ve found the perfect licensees for the Five Lamps all we need to do now is provide a perfect pub, time to call in The ‘E’ Team ( basically the buiders, designers, electricians and carpenters).

The Plan:

  • The pub will close at the start of May for about 5 weeks with the intention to open at the start of June
  • Graham and Janette are busy working with the Everards design team to bring an authentic, cosy yet homely feel to the Five Lamps.
  • The plan is to replace everything from light fittings to furniture to create a relaxing feel to the pub.
  • Food: Janette will be bringing her award winning cooking skils to the pub and introducing a new food menu with locally sourced ingredients.
  • Beer: Graham being the passionate cask ale enthusiast which he is, will be looking to bring a wide selection of local and national beers to the Five Lamps.
